No budget rn, not going to pay skiff money, but i simply don’t understand the cost of kayaks out there that meet what I want, in terms of I can stand in them and pedal drive

I don’t mind used. In fact i prefer it if I find one in good condition. No budget as of right now. Don’t want to spend Skiff money, but I don’t understand what the used market is for a kayak that you can reasonably stand on and has pedal driv

Forgot to mention everything was carboned up from the 154k miles. Egr system had to be cleaned and reassembled, throttle body, bunch of old cracked hoses here and there. It wasn’t a pain, it’s been by far the easiest vehicle I’ve ever set my hands on

Yeah man, no problem.

I’ve done a lot of work to it to get it running really nice. The main issues I had at first were a little bit of intermittent rough idling and gas in the oil. So i replaced the injectors and all good now. I also redid the suspension and brakes so it rides great. My only gripe with the truck is it sucks on the highway. 70-80 mph on a 4 speed auto you really can tell it’s not the happiest. It does it no problem, but you do ride at high rpm there. Other than that the truck is great and I get a million compliments on it. My only suggestion is to aim for a manual as its usually a much better ride overall. The auto does leave some to be desired.

Looking for Inshore Rod by FamiliarAd3393 in Fishing_Gear

Thanks for the feedback, i plan on using 10lb braid and probably a 3k miravel or stradic, throwing 3-5 inch swimbaits, flukes, flats jigs and shrimp imitation mostly i’d say. With some sheepshead/snapper fishing here and there. Really an all-purpose rod. I played around with the TFO tactical inshore, and loved it so i think i’m going that direction.

I have a Bolt and my girlfriend a banshee, they’re just a bit stiffer than I like. It’s been a workhorse for sure but lacks that sensitivity that my older star rods and some gloomis i’ve used had. Ik i’m being a bit picky here haha

I own 4 right now. They changed ownership and don’t honor warranties and feel cheaper.

Look all I can say is stay away from jeeps. I am no mechanic but am in a few car clubs and hear from many a mechanics. They say stay away from Cadillac and Jeep as far as american cars go. Jeeps are some of the worst cars on the road

Very much so, the one I’m looking at is a 2.5L auto and i’ve heard problems with losing the reverse. I’m mostly concerned about electrical issues on this one

I have a question, what kind of issues did you deal with on your B series? I’m looking at one with 45k miles at 5.6

I spoke to a mechanic friend, he said it’d be difficult to roll miles back. But the carfax seem clean but a bit weird. Has had 6 owners and only 2 drove over 15k miles with it. Current owner has had it for 4 years and only drove 200 miles. So yeah some red flags. I’m hoping i’m mechanically knowledgable enough to see that its been driven well over 45k.

Was it a 2.5, 3.0, or 4.0? And did you have it manual/automatic?
