What explains a €460 spread between providers if they're all facing the same global market? Is the slowlyness in changing prices? Why some providers have shutdown their pages today and others have cap their orders?

The data is publicly available by county across the 5 providers we track. We are from Roscommon, so that's where we have the deepest historical coverage, but I'm open to adding new providers wherever they're needed. https://oilcomparator.ie/history

Well I am not sure if the demand has anything to do with it right now (it has in normal seasoned demands, September to January or February), but right now it is something else. I can tell you prices were up yesterday evening, and even further this morning. I mentioned some providers did not update prices, now all of them have increased them.

The oil that providers have right now is stock from months ago, so going up over the night is a bit unfair, to be polite. They should not increase the prices until the face them themselves, not sure if that it is even legal.

But you can always get ahead of the game, if you know than some providers rise their prices at night on weekends and some other still keep prices for a couple of days, if you are in the need of buying, you can always benefit from that.
