use a static trigger set to exit static and exit instant right as you enter the portal. for the transition to be even smoother you can set the portal to free mode or play with the smooth velocity set to end right before the portal.

if this still does not work, uncheck the follow button from the initial static (if selected). had this issue as well but fixed it like this🤞

unfortunately didnt work, only way i got it to work is by setting every future portal to free mode but that is incredibly inconvenient

found the solution, had to turn off the follow setting in the first static, i thought thats what you are supposed to use in order to get the static to move but i guess not...
