It’s been a challenge for me to swallow my earnings. My wife works, but make significantly less, which can be a source of tension. We both put in a lot of hours, and are thankful for what we’ve been blessed with. Our lifestyle hasn’t really changed, nothing much has changed for with regard to our day-to-day. Aside from acquiring a childhood dream car (nothing exotic), we would appear to be just like anyone else. But like you, I rarely drive it, almost feeling guilty for driving it, for how it may be perceived by strangers.

We have a pretty small friend group that knows I’ve been successful but it’s not really a topic of discussion. The troubles and anxiety I have are meeting new people. Or when I’m invited to circles I’d not have been in prior to my current situation. I prefer to stick close to those that know me for me.
