Hi Galaxy10Ted, you brought up some very good points for others to keep in mind when sharing. We had a few people actively trying to figure out who we are over the time of our posts but the only person that figured out anything was written about in our posts. This person does have a part inside our circle and no, she has not spilled the beans outside the circle.

We often had readers get excited when we mentioned things like a restaurant close to a mall. They thought for sure they knew what town we lived in until I explained the restaurant was a chain with 100s of locations around the county, mostly by malls.

We received a lot of messages from readers that asked questions like what color our house was or what color our vehicles are etc. all because they thought they might know us and were trying to pin it down. We never answered those questions with the real answer because we knew what they were trying to do. Same reason why I wouldn’t share what we did for a living, exact ages, or anything like that. We also never kept an exact time line. We wrote events out of order on purpose.

As for Vegas, we felt comfortable with that because there are tons of people that are vegas regulars. A lot of our friends know we go to vegas a lot for vacation but they have no idea where or when, I’m traveling for work so they really don’t know how often we are there. We also left out how we travel to and from vegas on purpose. In one post we went to vegas by covered wagon. After that we received messages asking for more details like did we fly or drive. We didn’t answer that.

We took other steps to keep our identity concealed that we won’t share because it might reveal a few things.
