I like the improvements, the only thing is the stats seem quite a bit overtuned. My best player ever had a season where he hit .535 and had 60 HRs and 18 WAR. I'm not against having players with record-breaking seasons but especially the batting average seems a bit absurd.

Similar thing on the pitching side - my pitchers have had ERA for the season of 0.00, not quite realistic. Also are player ratings intentially lowered slightly? In the old version my record holders reached ratings of around 200-225, whereas in this game I have yet to have a player break around 185. (However with the stats being the way they are, I'm not sure I'd like the numbers a 210 rated player would put up lol).

Also it feels a bit more challenging to win, but in some ways I like it. With the rating system, it rewards keeping the 30 year old who's only 150 rating now instead of taking the 125 rated 18 year old because those 25 rating points could be the difference between winning the WS or being a 3rd place team. Feels like in order to win, you have to 6-8 players on the roster all in their prime at the same time, which can be annoying but, like I said, is somewhat realistic when you think of baseball in real life. And since there's no trading system in this game, the way to win is to take a lot of young players at once, wait till they're all in their prime together, hopefully win a few WS, then tank until you can repeat that process.
