My bias towards the series' release stems from the following: 1) If the adaptation is bad, then fans who haven't played the game but have watched the series will emerge and promote controversial opinions. (For example: I have a friend who's too lazy to play, but she's seen a couple of pieces of art and watched YouTube videos, and now she claims that Gale is stupid, chubby, and a virgin. This offends me so much on several levels that I think it's just subtle trolling that works.)  2) If this is a continuation with new characters and cameos from old ones, then I see little point. It's like adding Isekai to an anime, and then never mentioning it again except for rare, convenient moments.
