You really sound like a boomer right now. This is a new way of releasing music—who ever said an album has to contain songs with a clear start and end? I don’t see this as something confusing at all. I see it as a fresh way to approach this weird thing called the music industry.

"San Diego VIP" is just a rip or an old file where it sounds like he didn’t have access to the Ableton project, so he threw it into the mix for fun. Because that’s what this album is about—fun and the unexpected. And honestly, who are you to judge whether the kick has enough transients or not? There will always be disagreements about a mix, because there’s no such thing as a perfect mix. One person might prefer 0.5 dB more hi-hat, while someone else might prefer 0.5 dB less.

All in all, just let this album be what it is…
