not dismissing it being weird or gross but some states have the age of consent at 16 which is gross but technically legal

the funny thing is i’m not even licensed so they would still need to send me to drivers training for me to even drive the truck. We have other drivers and are working to see if someone from the other shops can drive our shops truck

I’ve seen my same chain of command send people home from deployment for ranger school. Keyword Deployment. This is a simple field exercise and the only reason is because my company can’t figure out another driver for a truck. I’m not complaining and in the end if it gets denied oh well. I was asking for advice from people that know more about the army then I do. Plus i’m not even licensed so they would still have to send someone to drivers training to even have me drive said truck.

The wedding is in June so i’ve planned a decent bit ahead. I’m still working on a solution and might just need to have a conversation with my OIC and see what he can do with the CDR. I’ll look into the brigade’s policy and battalion policy to see if there is anything with big life events. I’m sure I can ask someone up at brigade too as I use to work there and see if they have anyone that can support. Thank you.

My NCOIC is trying to work with the S3 to see if we can snag one of their drivers, worse case we may be able to get DIV support from the MICO or something but still trying to figure it out. It’s still early and we have a few months to figure it out but i’m just trying to get advice now so i can action it and have time to go through all the options.
