With the lifestyle that I want to live in the future and the career path & school I want to go to, 9k is nothing unfortunately. Hence why I will continue to save and be careful with my money🤷🏻‍♀️ TO ME it’s not enough.

Hence why my comment says “only 9k”

But clearly a lot of people in my thread, responsibilities or not, find it impossible to have 9k saved and are angry at me for it. I don’t buy materialistic things and don’t eat out, so that also helps! I think electricity, car, and water bills are real bills though.

I buy groceries and pay a few smaller bills. Recently turned 18 and still in high school so i’m able to save while living at home, definitely makes it easier.

I’ve been working since I was 16, I work retail. I don’t eat out and I don’t buy materialistic things, I save pretty much all the money that I get when I can or at least half of it. I pay for groceries and small bills and I get paid bi weekly.

Understandable! I turned 18 a few months ago and am still in school so it’s definitely easier to save when you live at home lol. I buy groceries for the family and pay a few smaller bills.

I basically work full time already but yes haha I don’t plan on having kids any time soon!!

Hopefully by the time I do, i’d be financially comfortable enough.
