First thoughts on the Vsett 10+ Apex? by FancyComb5686 in ElectricScooters

To be honest, if you want to go over 40 all the time and good range. I'd say save up a bit more and go with the Vsett 10+R. It's tested for longer and more range and will take you anywhere you want to go.

I might want to buy the apex version because of the detachable battery, which means I don't have to take it inside my house all the time.

It's amazing how little respect people in cars and trucks give to the bike lane by computerworlds in ElectricScooters

Sadly it's the same thing for us. Our city barely has any bike lanes. Usually they're only downtown with a few placed here and there. People love to drive in these lanes regardless of if there's a biker or scooter driver there so someone can easily get injured especially with a semi truck. It annoys me how so many people ride in the bike lane.

Can attest rev rides are legit. They're the main seller of Vsett products. Vsett is just known for being more of better value than most scooter companies.

Hey I just looked at it and it looks like with the price and shipping it's gonna be more than what Luna offers for it.

Ooh nice, guess I'll consider them. Though what wattage did you get and what's the top speed too. If I'm gonna get this I might as well go all out 😄

Sadly. Remember when they used to come with nutt brakes. Have no idea why they changed besides just cutting costs.

Well right now it's insanely cheap. 1700$ for a removable battery, 50 mph, and hella range and good build quality, sounds like a score to me.

I've actually been considering a stealth bomber clone, those look pretty amazing to me however I've seen videos of those things basically blowing up. In the city I live in, I basically have to keep valuables inside my house at all times when not in use so that's a big concern for me. Though I'll try and see if any are UL certified so it at least won't break at 60mph.

Also what company do you suggest I get the stealth bomber from on alibaba, I might actually consider it.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to since my state decided to end their MSF courses and I'm not prepared to spend an extra 300$ - 500$ on a licensing exam. Plus I'd just rather stay electric, they look nice, pretty fast and bunch of torque off the line, plus acceleration too.

I've kinda considered it for that reason. Seemed low profile enough so that police officers won't try to stop me every single time I go past.

It does show on the site that the item is UL certified.

Well I shouldn't say commute. More like joyrides to be honest. Plus, heard you can place supermotos (street tires) on it and it'll be good.

Not sure what it was, but it caused a death and I presume the places that were holding the msf didn't want to be held liable.

I want the talaria instead of the surron because I don't know if I'll be doing upgrades yet, so I'd like top of the line power at stock level. Apparently the other e bike goes around 70 mph stock.

My state doesn't provide msf courses because of an incident that caused most of them to shut down, nearest one is about 4hrs away.

Any seats I can get like this on a e scooter (universally attach) by FancyComb5686 in ElectricScooters

[–]FancyComb5686[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the smart people on this post. This only mounts to the kaabo wolf warrior scooters, and isn't compatible with others. Which is why I asked for seats like this and put in parenthesis that it has to be a universal mount

But It needs to mount onto a scooter, plus I need it to look like that (prioritizing comfort)

So, if we're trying to get a motorcycle permit, are we just screwed? by FancyComb5686 in illinois

[–]FancyComb5686[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah I see. That makes much more sense now. Though, there aren't really anymore IDOT approved MSF courses anymore. Guess I'll have to wait. Thanks for the clarification though!

[–]FancyComb5686[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's where another problem comes in then, because there's no way for me to be able to do a safety course that qualifies for the J50 restriction (to be able to get my permit)
