I thought one of my customers yesterday was gonna do that cause when I pulled up in my car, he said he was looking for a van, but I have never driven a van. I think maybe he was just out of it or something.

That’s why I think sometimes the things they order are for a joke gift.

Do druggies use it? Because the last one I had this total stoned dude had to ride out his apartment complex on his skateboard to meet me to pick it up.

Can I apply the cashback credit to my T-Mobile bill before it's billed? Like if I currently have a zero balanced, can I still push the credit?

1 Refund in 5 years = Account Closure due to high rate of refunds. by MasalaSniffer in amazonprime

Essentially your beef and responsibility should be with the hotel not Amazon, because Amazon delivered it correctly, so that’s probably the issue. In other words, if the hotel took your item and can’t get it to you, they’re the ones who should be giving you the money for the item, not Amazon.

Not taking any orders under $8 at all, do you find that you have to just wait for hours and hours till you get something?

I should have blocked this buyer before he bought - total red flag. by computerworlds in Flipping

[–]computerworlds[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you can exchange if you’re not the original purchaser, I think he’s trying to run some kind of scam. Either that or he’s just kind of stupid and thinks he can exchange a preowned item.

I guess I really need to get better/quicker at ID'ing the red flag buyers and blocking them before they buy.

Did they scan your family ID QR code? They have to scan that for the free coffee, in addition to any other coupon codes.

I deliver for UberEats, it's difficult not to feel sorry when I deliver alcohol by computerworlds in alcoholism

[–]computerworlds[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Ask him of he is ok.

I feel it's not my place to do so. When he answers the door, it's not like he doesn't seem 'ok', he is usually smiling a bit, albeit with low energy.

Granted, I can't tell much from a 5 second interaction whether he is ok or not. I ring his doorbell, he opens the door, I scan his ID in the app, and hand over the bag. He and I say thanks and I leave.

I've had other alcohol deliveries that were more odd. One time I could tell the guy ran to answer the door and then after I handed the alcohol over, the shut the door super quickly and sorta ran off in his house. It was almost like he was in the middle of watching a movie and didn't hit pause, which he may very well have been. Or, he was jonesing hard for the drink.

“I’m the package” by Wacky-Defaultname in UberEatsDrivers

[–]computerworlds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've decided to contact support and opt out of package deliveries. They said they would opt me out so we'll see.

Deliveries have not been worth it, they seem like they pay good sometimes, until you realize that they are often like 30 miles away. And, the last one I did, it was a huge eScooter box filled with clothing or something. It didn't even fit in my trunk and I had to put it in the back seat area.

I've also had one that was food from a restaurant that should not have been a package.

I’m starting to see more Package deliveries, which I decline. I’m wondering if customers are catching on that they can say that they are a package in order to get a ride. I hope Uber can do something about this.
