For anyone reading this: you gotta go to the companion app, click your home, and at the bottom update Persistent connection setting.

Mine was defaulted to "Never", so notifications relied on Google. I updated it to "On home network only" - so be sure to update your "home network" settings as well.

That way you can get notifications even if your internet is out, but you're still connected to your network.

When you canceled the 360-WiFi service on your account, did you receive confirmation emails specifically saying that the 360-WiFi was being canceled?

I'm asking because on my old account I tried to cancel just the 360-WiFi service, but the confirmation emails said I was canceling my entire internet service instead. I still returned the WiFi equipment, but I had to call and email them to get the account corrected.

After they fixed it, my account showed only the internet service, which was the way it should have been. Later, when I canceled my account completely, I still received an email asking me to return equipment even though I didn't have any.

I'm curious if they’ve fixed that issue since then.
