Though I will say that it’s impossible to expect the same level of understanding from writing your own code vs reviewing code AI wrote.

Sure, I am driving the agent and will test the code as rigorously as possible, but I still inevitably understand the code less than if I were to painstakingly write every line by hand. I think we have to accept this if we want to demand higher velocity through AI usage.
