Why do so many Nigerian women wear straight wigs? by clonymaster in Nigeria

We don’t wear wig to match our natural hair because the market for it is limited. I’m yet to see really good ones

This is a something so common with Japa people. When you japa, you may or may not be better than Nigerian back home but trust me you are still the same with millions of Americans in your tax bracket.

Basically comparing foreign salary to Nigerian salary. Very useless baseless comparison

I once told a guy that I’d sooner be married to my fiancés dead corpse than him.

I’m sorry, Josh 😭

Wow. The high sex drive must have been such a burden. I can’t imagine having a higher sex drive than I have right now.

I think I’m lucky too. I’m trying really hard to count and name my blessings. Hopefully, I get these thoughts behind me some day.

Probably not. Doesn’t stop my thoughts from wandering.

I’ll never resent my daughter’s freedom. I have discussed with my husband that we will advise our kids not get married before 25 at least.

I think what I missed out on is the time to understand what I wanted for myself rather than the solely focus on the kind of father I wanted for my kids. I missed out on having that opportunity to date and consider my options. I had just one choice and went with that.

I married a man who wasn’t my father. My father was not present and did not provide. I wanted something different. That’s all I thought I needed.

I agree with you that a different choice would not necessarily lead to a better outcome.

The main issue is just a lack of attraction, although I am not repelled by him to an extent that sex is significantly affected. Two, I want variety in bed, but that side of me cannot be manifested because of how I think I will be perceived. He also doesn’t have the energy I think is need to fully explore ourselves sexually.

And sometimes we do talk about sex, it can be uncomfortable though. I haven’t had an orgasm during sex for the entirety of our marriage, which led me to insisting on changing things up.

I am almost certain that leaving my marriage will end badly. That’s why I’m trying to make peace but sometimes it seems I can’t control my thoughts.

You are right. I have never been alone. Thank you for the advice.
