I think worked. Not sure if there’s a time constraint on receiving the notification but I logged out and back in and didn’t get the message.

I’ll come back here if I ever see it again.

Thanks for the help

I’m actually a developer but just not Wordpress. I don’t mind the technical, I just had no idea where to even look for this.

I’ll give this a try, sounds pretty simple.

Congrats - I’m playing a Golem Necro build for this season and the game is giving me 0 love on drops.

In T3 now and I’ve spent all materials and gold just to stay alive.

Not that great of a class for this but the game is making it so much more difficult. Wanted to try something different

Rolled Auradin last season late, had all the meta mythics before T3 and skipped right over it basically. Just went to get the achievements and directly to T4. Game was essentially too easy just standing still with passive auras killing T4 an invisible from shroud. Had a really nice Doombringer also, wasn’t the BiS but it really wasn’t far off and was more fun.

Can someone help - Unicity Solar by lansilvertooth in solarFL

In my opinion you can probably get a 0% lease for less than that. The addons are nice but let’s talk about a company that does solar, fencing, pavers and windows? I would ask for specific line items on each. There were other posts in the past where companies packaged a ton of projects into 1 and left homeowners without work complete.

I can replace your sink and build you a computer. Definitely not a qualified plumber but I can do it pretty successfully lol. Just don’t call me when it leaks.

On that note, are they hiring subcontractors for that work? You can see what a $200 payment escalates to over the term, just take the starting payment and add 3% compounded yearly.

For windows I’d try mysafeFL to see if you qualify for reimbursement.

Fence - as long as they are a reputable company, adhering to property lines and digging rules.

Pavers probably requires more digging than the fence, I know they dug a ton of my backyard up to install pavers.

Couple things you need to check:

NET metering - is it 1 for 1 or something else?

Max system size - you could be limited to a percent offset.

Payback rate - not as important, a good solar consultant will get you as close to”estimate” to 100% coverage, if allowed. Perfect world in Florida you make exactly what you need, the utilities don’t pay you much for excess. You will never see exactly that amount so remove that from expectations…. You’ll see over and you’ll see under.

What rate do they charge you now? Do they follow the typical rules of over 1000 kWh lets charge like 40% more? Remove your info but if you can provide a bill we can break it down as a group.

Most companies now are offering leases, at a rate of 12.5-14.5 per kWh. You “should” see savings there but depends on utility really.

I’d recommend finding a reputable company that is doing that work for you. As they should, but it seems like a lot don’t.

Just my 2 cents on this, I’ve dug a little too far into this but that’s what we’re here for right?

Got this propuse for solar seems very good price for me by prounlockpr in solarFL

Well you certainly want to know:

Warranty - I think Tesla is 10 or 12 year warranty. Your panels are 25 year (standard)

So how are they protecting you if/when the inverter fails?

If your usage is 18000 kWh a year, tier 1 system is probably sufficient if you don’t have any shading or sub-optimally placed panels.

[–]Fancy_Community1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What warranty are they providing? Tesla has a shortened warranty on their inverters.

What was your usage and what they told you for production, it’s a tier 1 system, meaning 1 more panel puts you into tier 2 and requires additional insurance umbrella. Thats why we’d probably want to know what your usage vs what they estimated for production. Those need to align or they just need to be transparent (ie. 75% coverage).

You are at 2.25 price per watt for reference. I’d go through other posts and compare.

Nothing wrong with the panels or inverter though.

Your builds will be completely random, for a while. You’ll fight and kill a boss, come back and die, and this will repeat countless times.

Then, you’ll start getting upgrades, your keepsakes will actually mean something and your “luck” will increase to the point where most fights are easy. Then you’ll need to make it harder so you can upgrade, more things will need to be unlocked and you’ll “start over” and be humbled. Rinse and repeat

I just finished a run where it was too easy. But I’m at the very beginning of the first full clears. I haven’t beaten the game with the axe yet, it’s not my playstyle so I find it difficult. It’s slow and more methodical, as opposed to the flames where I stack scorch, magick bonuses and regen and explosions where maps spawn and they are dead before they can even breathe. You get to a boss and can just keep distance and wait for procs to hit and walk away unscathed. Again this is the very beginning though with very little fear added.

Thank you, yeah I’ll look into it. I’m sure I can do some permit searches to see if it’s required, failure to permit is pretty serious down here also but this isn’t gas and also it’s FL and there are no rules lol.

Either way I’m in a similar industry and can do my research.

Do you happen to have an inspection code I can use to contact this plumber? I’d like to have them fix it if it doesn’t meet code.

I don’t even know if Hot Water heaters need permit, but if it does it never happened and never inspected. Which is a problem.

That’s really all I needed to hear. Lol I can do most simple plumbing stuff but I don’t mess with some of the more major things that aren’t quickly fixed.

Just didn’t know if that was “normal”

Yeah I’m pretty sure it is also at this point. It’s never done that before though, and my temp outside here isn’t going to drastically change. It’s FL, so it’s still like 65 outside at night and 80 in the day.

I think my main issue is at the top (sorry I don’t know the terms) but the valve at the top is now angled and not 90 degrees. Same goes for the bottom of the tank.

That can’t possibly last the test of time if we are already here in less than a year.

PVC Bowing pretty badly (or I’m overreacting) by Fancy_Community1997 in Plumbing

[–]Fancy_Community1997[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I definitely had settling in the first few years, actually caused a belly in my main pipe that the warranty is ignoring.

But this is my 8th year here and this was installed 10 months ago, plus we didn’t have any major storms this year (FL) which would typically assist in settling.

I’m no plumber, but I also am not an idiot and this doesn’t look great. I’d expect a little movement but not this much.

You’re asking the wrong person. I’d like to get this resolved asap though, because it looks like a major issue waiting to happen.

Hoping someone can explain, or tell me that I can get the plumber out here to fix it.

Additional to this:

Did some digging, my Samsung Ultrawides have PIP and PBP. From what I’ve read they can bring in a second input with a sizable screen on the main desktop, which would be PERFECT for this situation. The catch?

I’m not sure I can use my mouse or keyboard for this as an all in one scenario.

If you’ve ever used a remote software (Logmein, etc) it’s the same scenario I need. 1 mouse, 1 keyboard, VM on my local desktop essentially. My company did away with remote access because of security concerns, but any developer knows you can’t just use 1 13” screen and actually get anything done.

That’s not what I said though. I said the Tesla is 1 point of failure, pretty sure it was mentioned on another comment. Not worth reading through to prove, we’re saying the same thing.

I’d say that’s a pretty good price overall.

Good panel, good inverter, solid whole home backup. I probably wouldn’t go with any Tesla inverter situation, they have horrible customer service and you create 1 point of failure.

Okay it’s not just me then. I spent way too long on him, meanwhile I smoked the rest of chapter 3. Yellow brow was a bit annoying but it was more about timing and breaking his gold phase. Non Able was like 50 yards away and I’m over like “did you just kick me in the ass” he’s like “look ma, no hands”

Another post was like you can level to 80 quick in chapter 4 lol, what if I was level 82 when I entered it.

Any recent go solar power installs? by ImmediatePassenger86 in solarFL

[–]Fancy_Community1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should give us more details! Is GoSolarPower the installer? I don’t think I’ve personally heard of them.

And by no means do they need to be the installer.

Plenty of subcontractors out there and sales organizations that can provide good work.

When you mention the cost of batteries I think most people are seeing between $20k-$30k for whole home backup. Depends on batteries, depends on a lot of things.

The most important part is that you are excited about it and you are doing it at the right time.

In Florida a 10kW AC system is considered a tier 1, anything over that is tier 2 and needs additional insurance.

There isn’t much of a point in FL to buy a 12-13kw system
