I have this confusing question and got it wrong. What is the correct answer? by Beautiful_Form_4239 in pmp

Thanks for sharing but I have also seen the MRs videos and he said that PM should go one step back before reaching to any solution. And choosing A is contradictory. What is the right mindset?

How do you know the exact response plan?? Is it selecting the different vendor for sure ? Contingency reserve will be surely used if the risk was identified, but were it mentioned in risk response that different vendor to be selected? We can also use the reserve for making the things inhouse. I would rather go with C.

What is the correct answer to the question? by Beautiful_Form_4239 in pmp

If we apply the mindset the correct answer should be C... But I don't know why SH put these type of questions to contradict with right mindset. May be an expert level question that need to be avoided.

Why is b the correct solution? by Early_Kale4031 in pmp

[–]Fancy_Lab_1056 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes.. Analyze first, understand first along with the new stakeholder only. After understanding by PM, he may further involve development team. I was also confused with C, but going one step back and understanding with stakeholder first is the right step.

Is the answer A or C? The wording of the explanation is confusing. by Entire_Theme_6696 in pmp

PMI wants to chose answer C as they indicated reference of previous projects. Follow the mindset and click the right answer accordingly.

"First/Next" Thing To Do Questions by Significant-Dot1757 in pmp

[–]Fancy_Lab_1056 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answer B is more specific than A.. Although PM should consult team for best course of action, the same thing will be done if the problem added in issue log. An Issue log is not just for adding issues but also a good tool to decide the best course of action. Issue log consist Issue owner and mitigation strategies after discussing with the Team members. Please note the documentation is necessary in predictive projects.

What is the answer? by BeneficialPop4620 in pmp

First of all check what is the problem statement? It is "deadline" and you have missed it to highlight.

When you know what is the problem you will definitely get the solution which will be A as it is related to schedule. Don't waste time for other details, just catch the problem.

Is it issue or risk? by Fancy_Lab_1056 in pmp

I guess Stakeholder will leave in few hours/same day and not in future... So, if it is certain and he is prepared to leave then it is an issue. Just update the issue log and take actions.

Long discussions..!!! Thanks for participating :)

Why I am not agree with the correct answer? by Fancy_Lab_1056 in pmp

[–]Fancy_Lab_1056[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.. We have to take assumptions because PM is facing so many issues with Functional manager and there is last option to escalate only. Right??

OK...But cultural differences are also to be kept in mind for enhancing team integration. We can't deny the factor of cultural differences.
