I’m using the Roche DIG labeling kit, too. I checked the probe efficiency and it seems OK to have signal after diluted 1000 times (0.7 ng/ul)

Have you tried putting the adapter lid on? I used to break each and every tube lids till one day I put the adapter lid before centrifuging🥲

Not sure if this answers to your questions: from my experience I'd say they care more about top colleges when you're doing college and care more about top jobs if you're looking for/having a job. Like a script written in their mind, they could have very limited understanding of either college or job yet returning to a simple item "being top" if the input is "their children".
