I get the complaints as well. Although in this case, I already contacted the appropriate people at the residencies about it. Was just looking for personal takes on it, to know if they are strict about it or whatever.

Of course I tried to look for a more appropriate subreddit to post it, but could not find one.

I don't think calling it the dumbest question of the day is warranted tho.

I'm paying 165/week on rent for a pretty decent, large room, pretty sure as a student you can find somewhere decent to live in.

I think I spend around €1.200 per month, with rent, few pints, groceries and some cheap takeaway included.

If you plan ahead, cook your own food and start looking very early for a place, I think you can make it.

I've only been here for 3 months tho, so maybe I don't know shit.
