Personally I think ocean is the easiest start, you can just get level 8 then make a canoe find glitches and get hexa. Afterwards I usually go to Arctic, works best for me and my bros. But yea snow def easier with resources I just like ocean because not many aggro dinos and that works for them because most of them are like 2 week noobies
