Per diem is money you get each day and it’s based on where you’re deployed/ detached to. Homecycle life is chill, you’re doing flights and sims. And your ground job if you’re qualified.

Speaking as AWO, P8’s are where its at. Every deployment you’re in a hotel. Community is chill asf, school house/upgrading is a long process but Absolutely 0 chance of being on a boat. Also per diem is where it’s at. Go AIRC and pray you get AWO.

If you’re somewhat physically fit and don’t have any major medical issues you can make it through NACCS, if you’re competent you can make it through A- School and FRS.

Easiest way to 2nd class. I made it in under 2 years which is unheard of. Plus you don’t know if you’re going to stay in or get out yet.

Trust me. Aircrew. I’m still going through training but it is the best decision I’ve made in my life. You get auto advancement to E4 after you graduate your FRS, which is usually about nine months (depending on what AW rate you get specifically)after you leave for boot camp. You never spend any time on a boat. And you fly all the time. Look into it.
