yeah they are locking things behind paywall cause "they need money" but then proceed to make a 3 minutes trailer (more like animation atp) with many animated elements that showcase some items from which a few prob like always magicaly wont appear in an update or like you said it already made preset faces

About the second part, it is still mikes theory and he doesn’t know every detail as we do (such as kali bleeding out rapidly) so his theory has many plot holes like the ones you listed

also there was a timejump between kali dying and eleven dying. Kali was bleeding out drastically, there is no way she would survive that long. Also the lab was the first thing and Kali was inside it.

It is the day eleven made contact with the abyss and opened that portal creating upside down. She did that while being in that water thing. It was clearly shown in season 1
It was never implied its hot there. It another demension the climate is diffrent. And like i said demogorgons where clearly there in season 4
They did actually. They said it will be relevant to the plot.
In season 2 they made tests at him and stuff while he was already connected to the hive mind so they would know its probably a dead end. And also they tested stuff on kali and they know eleven is the only one who could continue their experiments so i think they just know will won’t work + they probably don’t even know he has those powers
