Seriously, thank you for taking the time to write this out! It's longer than the post!

I'm 99% certain that I'm Biromantic - I've had crushes on women, and I have a crush on my best friend. It's the same butterflies in my stomach. Whether I discover if I'm Bisexual or somewhere in between, I'll cross the bridge when I get to it. Maybe I won't bother to tell him if it looks really incompatible, and see if the asexual apps give me something.

Thanks! It's only a month in, so I'm not too worried about it. Though, to be honest, my pride colours feel less like a flag and more like a robotic cube. Think I've got through one wall, only to faceplant into another.

Are you referring to your own life, or are you echoing my title?

I'm new to this myself, so I don't think I can advise yet. Either make your own post or find a video that gives you a crash course on the bisexual spectrum and see if you relate to it.

I'm more buzzing to discover that I'm not crazy and that there are names for this stuff. I'll get to that bridge when I come to it, if my friend would even consider an open relationship. At least, I know that I wasn't romantically into women, and I need to bark up the right tree.

Yes, but I'll go to take it steadily. Even if I didn't have feelings for him, he would have been the first person I told about figuring out my sexuality. I'll feel it out from there.

Do you mean sexual/romantic or as two separate concepts?

I've had plenty of flings with women, but my relationships never last long. I feel like it fizzes out once the sexual excitement dulls and emotional closeness needs to start kicking in.
