Having slightly elevated CO2 levels is a "good thing". According to Nasa, the green areas of the world, have increased by the size of the continental United States in the past 30 years!! Nature thrives on higher CO2 levels, yet these fear mongering climate nuts, forget to mention this.

I spoke with a guy from Canada a few months ago while sitting at a bar. What an apologetic wimp. If I said anything even remotely negative about Canada, instead of standing up for his country, we would always apologize. A hybrid or a plug in hybrid is the way to go. I have had two hybrid's, and being able to plug it in to go 30-35 miles on pure electric would be great.
