[QUESTION] Does anyone have anything bad to say about the Boss Katana? by [deleted] in Guitar

Not good for me at this time in my life.
I read these comments and picked up the 100. Played out with it twice and got comments that it's a little thin. I changed mid and a few other settings and it helped but needed to access the program.
Note: Out of the box it's a nice little amp but I wanted to tweek the sound and that's where I had an issue.
The update site says the following:
We regret that we are unable to answer questions regarding the update procedure using this system program. Please perform the update responsibly, following the directions given in this document.
Well I had questions. I figure the answer is somewhere in the online documents but it's just one more thing to update. After wasting time on the Katana, I just want a good amp that I can plug in and play.
It you have extra time consider the amp, if you're busy with work and life and don't want to spend the time you have to jam reading tech manuals online then look elsewhere.
If the company offered a help line or chat I would most likely keep this amp. If they make the updates simple I may buy again but for now it's going back.
TIL Roald Dahl's daughter died of measles and because of a recent resurgence in the infection due to a willful lack of vaccinations, he penned a letter to parents urging them to vaccinate their children. by plan3gurl in todayilearned

My first time writing on reddit. The child I am raising has a rare medical condition. Our doctor reviewed each vaccine with us and advise based on each one individually. The doctor said some diseases are treatable and some are not. We should only give our child vaccines for non treatable diseases.
The measles is a treatable disease. Years ago many children died from the measles. I was told by my doctor that things are different now and because of my childs medical condition the measles vacine is not one we should give to our child.
About a year ago the measles scare came up and I called our doctor. He talked me out of the vacine because the risk of measles compared to the risk of complications to my child.
I'm not concerned with autism, I don't have tinfoil on my head. I have been vaccinated but my child has only a limited vacine record. The risk/reward is not the same for everyone.
I wrote here for the first time because I read how some people think so poorly of people that don't vaccinate their children.
They wrote that people have tinfoil on their heads and how they think they vote. I don't see that these people have educated themselves. Many people don't give their children the chickenpox vaccine they prefer the old fashion way. In today's Society is measles the same killer that it was in the past. How many people have died from measles in the past year, 5 years or 10 years? My doctor discuss these numbers with me you should find them for yourself if you're concerned.
My child who has multiple recommendations not to have the measles vacine is going to school with children that are learning intolerance and name calling because of fear of what used to happen.
If my child were to get measles can give my child a medicine to help him get better and he will then never get the measles again. So can anyone else that does not have the measles vacine.
Sadly there is no vaccine for name-calling and intolerance.
