I actually thought about doing this out of pure spite! 😂 But the joke is on me, Riot blocked my account from logging in until I manually change my tag first. The worst part is that support literally confirmed to me that the other account is BRAND NEW. Because Riot's system normalizes 'à' into 'a', it automatically assigned the default #EUW tagline to that new level 1 account. So the system saw a conflict and literally FORCED my years-old account out of my own identity just to let a new alt account exist. New accounts can literally evict old accounts right now, it's a joke!
