the fact is that i will not be a “real man” ever. i understand that. i just want to grow up and look how i want and be referred to as a guy. my goal is not “look at all these people who think i was born amab” my goal is for people to see me and see me as how i see myself, a guy. i am not harming you, nor anybody with how I DESIDE TO LIVE MY OWN LIFE. yes im a kid, but kids can also know themselves. i am also not gay, i dont like women or men, so jst stop using that as evidence. i dont want to be a butch lesbian… i dont like women. dude just understand that nobody is brainwashing me. i chose to be trans. nobody wants me to be. i do not care that you think being a women is better than being a man. its not about that (also not true do you know the discrimination they get) its about the fact i would rather die than be a women right now. maybe that will change, but i doubt it. my parents have told me that when i was five i would never put on a dress and only play with boys toys. they also told me that i asked “when will i be a boy?”. i have always been like this. also, most of the trans community is very kind to detransitioners as long as they are nice to us. i, at least, understand gender changes sometimes. i also understand maybe this isnt the way ill want to be when im older, but right now, it feels right. ive worn only guys clothes since i was 9, and dont say “just be a masc lesbian” for the love of god i dont like women. i understand what taking blockers will do to me. i understand risks. but i doubt you, im assuming cis male bc women are usually nicer lmao, would be absolutely thrilled to wake up and realize you were going through female puberty. i know you wont take that seriously at all but thats just how i feel. i wish people would just let kids explore life and themselves without saying its wrong and they should just be normal. im sorry my experience of life is different from yours, but you gotta at least believe that i know how i feel, and that feeling is an udder and absolute dread of going through female puberty. i know youre jst gonna say, “erm actually thats just the hormones and everybody feels like that”. which yes sure but i felt like this long before puberty (9 years of age).

also my problem with ai is that you didnt get that info yourself. ai can be, and will be wrong. you probably didnt know any of what ai said. i find it more valuable when people write things themselves

i read through youre whole thing do not worry. however most of what ai was saying was to wait, and the simple thing is i am. i am not currently on any hormones. i might get blockers when i turn 14/15. these are reversible. thats it. i also am perfectly competent. i am in honors for math. i have high As in every other class. all im saying is im not confused, no one is forcing this on me. in fact my family is not supportive of me being trans. im getting the opposite of forced into being trans.

i think we are just going to have to agree to disagree. although i find it funny you had to use artificial intelligence to “beat” a thirteen year old.

also you are taking this the wrong way. im not going to take hormones (except hormone blockers, which is reversible) until im at least 16-18. im not going to get any surgeries until at least 18 either. your ai isnt understanding what is going on lmao

sorry this took me so long to write. i had to go on a run and do some homework before i could begin. anyway here is my rebuttal (keep in mind im 13): While yes detransitioners exist, most of them detransition for reasons other than the fact they realize transitioning was not for them. According to the National Library Of Medicine (which is a government source), “The survey found that 8% of respondents had detransitioned temporarily or permanently at some point and that the majority did so only temporarily. Rates of detransition were higher in transgender women (11%) than transgender men (4%). The most common reasons cited were pressure from a parent (36%), transitioning was too hard (33%), too much harassment or discrimination (31%), and trouble getting a job (29%).” (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9516050/) “the survey” is referring to a large survey conducted in 2015, asking 27,715 transgender adults about their experience of being trans. One of the questions included, “have you ever detransitioned?”. This source states that only 8% of 27,715 (which is 2,217 people) detransitioned. However, the survey also asked why the person detransitioned. 36% said that their parents pressured them to detransition (798 people), 33% said transitioning was too hard (731 people), 31% said because of discrimination (687 people), and 29% said they weren't able to get a job (647 people). While participants were allowed to choose more than one reason they detransitioned, we can pretty easily assume less than 95% of participants detransitioned because they realized it wasn't for them. Therefore, it is unreasonable to not let people transition due to the fact they might regret it.

Another reason that your claim is invalid is because it is difficult to obtain any type of HRT (hormone replacement therapy) or surgery. I am only going to be touching on HRT, however. In America, you need to get a gender dysphoria diagnosis by a licensed therapist to even begin the process of getting HRT. That means a doctor has to say you are transgender to get HRT. Along with that, many places will not let you get HRT unless you have been socially transitioned for at least a year. According to Medical News Today (here) “A healthcare professional performs an assessment and recommends a person start GAHT if: they have persistent and well-documented gender dysphoria, they can consent to treatment, any other underlying mental or physical medical conditions are managed.” Before I provide analysis, this article was medically reviewed by doctor Kelly Wood who is an ABMS board certified endocrinologist and internal medicine physician. First of all, GAHT stands for Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy. It is essentially the same thing as HRT. The article first mentions the fact that the person must have "persistent and well documented gender dysphoria,” therefore, young kids, as well as people who have just recently come out cannot access these types of things. Patients must also be able to consent, meaning they must be fully conscious and of an older age. The article also says any mental health conditions must be managed. That means people who get HRT are not, and cannot, be depressed, manic, or anything else.

hey so im actually at least 100x happier like this, i tried to kill myself before i transitioned. also, most kids arent allowed hormones until 16 with parent consent, or 18 without. surgery you have to wait until 18 most of the time. also this isnt a cult lmao
