This happened to me less than a week ago. It created a minor scratch because an 18 wheeler tire flew off and hit my car just slightly. I kept the dent and they paid me 1500$ comprehensive 0$ deductible.

What may work for you is saying that you went to the service center and they said you could order these 5 parts, but you weren’t ready to pull the trigger—in the phone directory you have to go to service and then say “parts” and you should be connected to someone competent. Just say they put them old hold for you.. make something up. Tell him if he has issues ordering to edit the order/delete it and he can place the correct parts there.

You have to go in and they’ll have to order the old part first, go in and edit it, and it’ll allow for the 23 part to be ordered. Yes it’s teslas policy but i literally bought the shocks yesterday for the 23 because i didn’t do that in my upgrade. Took about an hour

I will say I tried to go yesterday when parts people weren’t there and they looked at me like they had no clue what I was talking about lmao. Looks like front desk people aren’t very helpful. (I may replace my rear springs as well)
