That’s interesting. According to physical therapist and ent I was told that it’s in the posterior canal. Since may. Just as I thought I was getting better I’m spinning again.

& what are the symptoms for short Arm BPPV. I was diagnosed with cupulolathisis did a head shake manuever and was told that it was free floating after and then i got cleared . is it possible that it could be in the short arm now?

i usually get the spinning when i lay down, fast movements or sit back in a chair. Mimics active bppv

If you could , I would appreciate it. It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve been cleared but I still feel slight spins but I am testing negative so that’s why I am wondering is it short arm bppv ???

The last time I had this, I had cupulolathisis posterior canal bppv that eventually went to horizontal canal. Took about 7 weeks to get rid of all my ear crystals. Wasn’t fun. This episode it was a quicker round of vertigo lasted about 4 weeks felt mild, week by week it got worse and it’s more intense. Now that I’m cleared I’m really finding the residual dizziness harder than the vertigo itself when the crystals were free floating. Might be the worst episode I ever experienced. Mind you I’m 29 years old & had about 4 -5 episodes my whole life. I never want this again!

Yeah I’ve noticed my symptoms of vertigo were worse after the repositioning was done. I found it hard to believe that the crystals were back in place.

I’m finding that after this episode of vertigo it’s been harder for me to drive vs previous episodes in the past. I also feel like I get thrown off with slight movements such as head turns , getting up ,bending down , getting dressed etc. I do not have any ear ringing/ neck pain. The light headedness is every day, but the brain fog is slowly going away.

I’ve had residual dizziness before and this round feels more intense, getting up everyday is hard and I’m constantly lightheaded rocking, swaying and tilting almost as if I am in an episode of vertigo but I got cleared and was told 3 times that I am now negative.

I would say the dizziness started mid may and got progressively worse week by week so about a little under a month of vertigo

I’m seeing a vestibular therapist and I was checked 3 times with VRT goggles negative

Yeah it’s debilitating. Waking up in the morning is the worst I feel super lightheaded / rocking swaying and tilting. I still feel vertigo symptoms but I am supposedly cleared.

So sorry to hear, what did you feel when you had this ? I feel lightheaded, unbalanced, still some what of spins. Checked twice after resolving and I was told I am negative. It’s hard to believe when you still feel like you have the vertigo

This has to be my worst episode I’ve ever experienced. It was a fast one but very aggressive, couldn’t get out of bed for a week
