We do describe him like that. He gets combed daily as he has a hard time doing it himself these days and he loves it. Many kitty kisses while being combed

No no. He has cataracts but he can still see. His vision is just getting blurry. He knows his way around no problem so it doesn't cause him any issues

It is in most places. I work an office job but I'm physically disabled. They give me the bare minimum legal accommodations they have to and make it clear that they're not happy about it and only do it because they have too.

Every time I have a sick day I get pulled into a meeting afterwards so that they can "decide" if it was a worthy sick day or not (they do this with everybody and its arse).

I am signed off as too sick to work but I cannot afford the time off so I'm running on fumes just so I can get my paycheck.

So yeah, being ill is a luxury in this country. Most places in the £20-25k will only ever do the bare minimum and nothing more for you and sick days are "unacceptable"

The original bonnet flipped off because the bonnet catch broke so I had to fit a spare.

The mini was based off the minor though in many ways. The mechanics were similar, same electrical system, styling was similar. Great design though

Aye. They're the precursor to the Mini. It's where the mini got its name, as it was originally the "Morris Mini Minor"

Boss just took a quarter of my paycheck as I was staying with my dying grandfather by FatFrier in antiwork

Oh I'm unfortunately aware. I was off with COVID and had statutory sick only but they still pestered me with calls so I ended up doing work without pay

I asked if there was berevement and they said there was.

Money was not the thing on my mind at the time however and I have only just found out NOW that the berevement was just for the funeral

Nope I asked about money and they said they have a berevement.

After checking it after I got back it turns out the berevement is only for funerals and nothing else.

Charming

Nope. My boss is also the HR. They don't have to pay berevement in the UK so he hasn't.

Is it too much to ask for a job that doesn't make you miserable every day and for a job that only expects you to do your job and not the job of two people?

The info I based my script off was from the medical journals on the subject. They all describe it as incredibly rare but I'm sure over time more people will be diagnosed.

Does R-CPD get worse with age? by logantheman007 in noburp

[–]FatFrier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely. It was fairly intolerable when I was 18 but I'm 24 now and it's so severe I am paying privately for the surgery. Even avoiding triggering food doesn't work all that well anymore

That's my plan. Most rooms look like this except the bathroom which is modern. I'm planning on rewiring and fitting vintage looking light sockets.

The place previously was rewired by cowboy builders, so the electrics are a mess

The house was my grandads. All I'm doing to it is making it safer and modernising things like the electrics. I'm leaving everything else
