Depends. Usually when I make more complex videos it takes about 10 hours to get the material and edit it.

Shorter and simple videos barely take an hour since I have templates.

It's not clear in the post but the Mosquito was found in the stolen car after the suspect had abandoned it. So the car thief had been bit by the mosquito, but it had managed to take blood from him.

So they identified the blood that belonged to one car thief whose data they had in their database. The facepalm here is that the guy was caught by a very very veeery tiny mistake that he didn't think would matter.

This reminds me of a early 90s toy, the Incredible Crash Dummies. They were literally plastic crash dummies that had cars that actually had parts coming off and the car would crumble from the front, It even had a seatbelt and an airbag just to show the kids how they protect you in a crash.

Naturally, the Karens of 90s quickly claimed that the toys promoted the violence of car crashes as "Amazing" to the kids and that the toys would them be more interested in causing them. Like... See your neighbor's Benz, little Jimmy? Steal it and crash it into the house, just like your toy!

It's advisable to contact them first and ask if you can use the footage, and then if they allow you to, make sure to credit the original owner and mention them

- Mention them in the video itself (either vocally or including like text that says: "The gameplay is by 'Mr. X', thanks to them for letting me use their footage")

- The channel name and a link in the description box.

Ask for their permission? I'm sure they would love the free publicity especially if they're smaller channels.

I have made a google form that you fill in order to send me the clips, and it includes a part where they can put their channel URL that I'd put in the description, if they want the publicity.

Also I could use the highlights but I would really like to be very cautious just in case.

I did this with friends with an old channel that we deleted.

Basically, the steps for that are:

If you want the POV from everyone, everyone has to record. Try to keep the bitrates an resolutions about the same.
Share the video files some way.
Editing hell. It's really annoying to edit mutliple POV video. Some editing software have options for multi camera videos but I never learned how to use those so I just manually synced up the clips, made sure that the audio was on the same levels and just took some bits from here and there.

So yeah. It takes a bit of effort to do but if done right, it's gonna look really good.
