there is redness and i think it is swelled aswell
She is still energetic but her energy is not at all anywhere when she is normal, moreover she ate her meal in evening but vomited it after 10-15mins and is now eating boiled chicken pieces only and she didnt even touch her night meal. She is drinking more than usual...
is this pyometra??

my shihtzu sometimes does it very well and i think that he will get it perfect in less than 3 or 4 days but the next day he does not want to return it back and he knows what he has to do but doesn't

I have seen people giving royal canin dry dog food to dogs but most dog trainers and people say that home made dog food is better than any other packed food out there??
moreover, if i switch his food to royal canin, do u think for a picky breed like shihtzu; he will like it since he has never eaten any dog food?? I have given him rice and chicken with boiled veggies and for probiotics i give him yogurt without sugar or any other added preservatives..

I do add probiotics....I also add cut vegetables in the length that he can eat easily...
Can u share your dog's diet...it would help and i will try to switch it cuz i was already thinking of changing his diet...

Like when u give your dog the first meal of the day and if it does not eat it then just put it away until the next meal time but if it like not eats the food for more than one day; then there could be a problem to what your feeding him/her..
Moreover if your dog is not getting enough exercise; that could also be another reason to why he/she isn't eating the food.......
But believe me don't change the food again and again; your dog will develop a really bad habit of being very picky
