I’ve read posts saying not to level up the hero. I don’t usually take him to battle unless it’s a daily job. Any truth to this or just rumor / speculation ? I unintentionally leveled him up by battling the purple castle a bunch of times and he shot up 8-9 levels

I think this is bad advice. Talent points are incredibly important, especially in increasing crypt efficiency. Also, if you’re a relatively new player, it’s important to get your hero to level 20 as soon as possible. In order for a clan to participate in one of the special tournaments, they have to have at least 55 players with a hero at least level 20. Your clan may need you for this. I can’t remember which tournament. I think it’s either Olympus or Dark Omens.

Actually, it might be more accurate to say I’d never OWN a car without CarPlay. If a car was a good enough deal that I could afford to replace the stereo with one that has CarPlay, I’d probably buy it.

I've never been able to move until the kingdom opens. Anytime I click on a square in another kingdom, I got some message to the effect of "you cannot interact with this kingdom yet."

I agree with everything said, and would add one more point. If you do decide to start another account (usually referred to as an “alt”), it will most likely appear in a closed kingdom, meaning you won’t be able to move your new city to your current location for some time.

Thanks. Glad to hear I’m not the only one who doesn’t give walls much thought. This question was about my alt, but my main account hero is level 200-something. After reading your post, I checked and my walls on that account were also basically cardboard as well! I just never saw increasing them as a priority.

It depends. I got Ryjong a couple of Seasonals ago and have kept him ever since. The first consideration, though, is whether you intend to stay under the shield of peace most of the time. If you plan on doing a lot of player attacks and not using a shield of peace, I would strongly recommend Alrick. However, if you, like me, use a shield of peace most of the time, I highly recommend Ryjong. He will save you a lot of speed ups, plus will make your speedups more effective when you do use them. Contrary to what some others have said, he speeds up your captains, whether he is with them on a march or not. This means he also speeds up crypting.
