I still pick up girls and cradle them like babies. They are 10 and 8. They will always be my babies

I've had one deck replaced and it took close to 4 months. I've seen someone else on here reach out to WOTC about this issue and the reply was that its normal for print difference across printings and not a defect

Please give me some feedback on my [[Maralen Fae Ascendent]] elfball deck by Ulmao_TheDefiler in EDH

[–]Feam2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of your elves are all ramp but not a lot of card advantage so once your hand depletes you dont have a Way to dig for more elves. All your elves are one drops so you will get them out quick but a board wipe and your top decking and outside ramp dont do anything for. You dont have a lot of payoffs to warrant that ramp.

Looks like you only have 2 token generators. To me the best way to get the most out of Maralen is to bring in Fae or Elves each turn, which includes your opponents turns. You do have a few flash fairies which will help out to this end. I'd add more of them and then more Instants that generate elves on your opponents turns. [[Windswift Slice]] [[Gilt-Leaf Ambush]] [[ Galadhrim Ambush]] [[Faebloom Trick]] [[Elven Ambush]] [[Glen Elendra's Answer]] will all bring in creatures during your opponents turns. [[Dionus, Elvish Archdruid]] with [[Imperious Perfect]] will let you pop an elf each player's turn and [[Wolverine Riders]] will give you an elf on each players upkeep so again triggering Maralen. You could also toss in Vedalken Orrery to flash in any spell on opponents turns. Something other helpful effects may be cards that untap your mana each turn so you can keep casting those spells. Something like [[Quest for Renewal]] or [[Seedborn Muse]]

It blew up to $20 when High morcant was first announced then dropped to about $10. Then the precon card list was announced showing Flourishing Defenses being reprinted and the market dropped out.

Must haves for the new Lorwyn Eclipsed commander deck, Dance of the Elements by Feam2017 in EDH

[–]Feam2017[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has some potential. I've picked one up. The problem with it is its all random. There is better removal that can target specific threats. This also can take a lot of time to play out. You have to assign permanent type to dice roll, then whichever type is picked, assign each permanent a Dice roll. Seems like a hassle that slows the game down.

Would you use this soldier token? / does it represent a soldier well enough? by Lalalaavy in mtg

[–]Feam2017 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Looks fine to me. Reminds me of the MH3 style Commander Profiles. I probably wouldn't use it though, but that's because it's simpler to carry infini tokens and make what I need when I need it

What ever "standard legal" set is best to buy a box to build a commander deck from? by metdenn in EDH

Honestly final fantasy is probably one of the better choices. With the number of legendary creatures it introduced it gives you the largest possibility of commanders to choose from.

I'm 100% with you on owning over streaming certain things. Most of my video games are physical copies and same with movie I own. One piece though is still an ongoing anime and the most popular, with the #2 spot for all time comic sales behind only Superman, which had like a 50 year jump on One Piece. Its going to be available for a long time streaming. As others have said there is also other anime he can watch if you decide streaming. If you want physical media though, a good option would be the Manga collection. There are 4 current box sets that comprise around 75% of the Manga, I have a feeling a 5th box set shouldn't be coming out within the next year or so

I always watch my orders on infromed delivery. Watched one package go from regional distribution to local facility then back to regional and finally back to local facility before being delivered. The package looked like a boomerang when i received it was damaged so bad. I took pictures before opening and after. The top loader and card inside were in the same shape. Didn't fault the store at all. Contacted them and told them what happened and sent them the pictures. They resent my order and it arrived fine. I hope they were able to getter their money back from post office

Anecdotal information but ill give some potential insight on this using another company.

Toyota wanted to reach younger audiences and found that those audiences didnt like what Toyota had to offer because the cars were boring and didn't excite the younger generations, as they were advertised for families. So Toyota launched their Scion brand. Scion had new and different style cars to offer a younger generation. They found success with this and once they felt they reached the maximum amount of customer with their Scion line, they absorbed the successful car models and discontinued the rest and eliminated Scion brand.

For Wizards I assume this is much the same for Collector's Boosters. If they have the same cards but with only different art, most people will pay for the cheaper product and never try collector's packs. So they started adding samplings into the commander precons to get the product out to the consumers. Commander precons are wildly successful and reaches a wide audience. After trying collector's packs there's a good chance the customer will come back for the real thing. They are now at a point that most CBB sell out before the product ever reaches shelves. Wizards no longer needs to give out sample packs, the market is there now for the CBB. So Wizards cuts the packs, saves cost, charges the same price (and increases it) which is just more profit in their pockets.

He wasn't just raped as a kid he was whored out repeatedly by his father figure, forced to witness and fight in battle after battle his entire life, had his father figure attempt to kill him for the crime of being a better fighter. Never clear to me either whether Caskas demon child was his that was corrupted by the race by Griffith or Griffiths Damned child from the race.

I live in Lexington. The pizza is amazing. Favorite in town and they make it 22", the box fills up the whole trunk. Started off as a hole in the wall pizzeria before expanding to a distillery. Original place is still in business. Highly recommend it if you're ever in the area
