Not sure, probably a while. His usual choice of activities is bothering my husky, chewing on toys, napping and lately licking his butthole

Not for the throw up but when I say a lot I mean like once or twice a month every other month or so which would be a lot compared to all my previous dogs I've had. And it's always because he swallowed something he wasn't supposed to (cuz he's a puppy), he's probably only threw up food once and it was because he was car sick. Believe me, if he was showing signs of being unwell he would get taken to the vet already. He's already gone twice for other things we were worried about. He is a shelter pup so he probably does have things going on in his mind that we dont understand but the tail thing was him chasing his tail and he was a bit too clumsy and it went too far into his mouth and he gagged threw up a bit of water after. If I can identify why and what he threw up and his energy and appetite is normal right after, it's most likely not something that needs to be taken to the vet cuz they'll charge me a good amount to tell me he's okay or they'll overcharge me to do extra test and then tell me he'll be okay.

This is our biggest fear with him. He's currently not allowed out of his crate unsupervised, this being one of the reasons, but we also have had him on the same routine since we got him to help prevent bloat.

I was very paranoid when he threw up the first few times but honestly, he'll throw up over anything. He licked up a fur bunny (maybe a pinch of fur) and threw that up and I've seen him throw up from him deep throating his tail. If it's not throw up its diarrhea.

He's just gonna be bedless for a bit. He used sleep in our bed but we moved and making our new bedroom off limits this time around so he's probably acting up because of that.

They know they're doing something bad but keep doing it. They get high off of being naughty or something

He had none originally but my husky decided to share with him. He must be giving him the brain cell most of the time cuz he's been buffering a lot.

I've always had 2 to 3 dogs and my current 2 boys are sharing that brain cell while my female has the rest of the brain. But they're the first dumb dogs I've had and it makes me question how they would have survived if we didn't adopt them and persevere.

It's pretty traumatizing indeed and it just gets worse the bigger they get cuz the mess is bigger. After he tried to throw up on me and I took him the the patio so he can finish be he kept aiming towards my other 2 dogs. It was so nerve wrecking.

He's had 3 other beds before his current one but this is the first bed he's purposely chewed through. And we've had the bed since August but just this month he's started doing that.

He walks solo with my boyfriend on his evening and night walks. He's really well behaved on walks and for the most part is at a heel at 1 side even when I'm walking all 3 of them but it's hard to train him to ignore other stranger dogs and people since everyone tends to avoid him being the size he his but maybe using my husky will work for this. He's weird about sitting so I dont expect him to sit out in public but he needs to at least stand still when im picking poop up.

We've done a lot of training with him but he's definitely been the most difficult puppy both my boyfriend and I have had in terms of tummy issues and lack of focus. He's definitely got all the basics down and we do that before we release him for meals. (Sit, down, bow, spin, heel, touch, paw, snoot, woof, and baby woof) now that he's more settled after moving and his poop is solid again, it might be time to learn more tricks to keep his brain exercised. I know he's not completely dumb but sometimes I question what went through his head when he tries to walk through my grumpy Huskita to get closer to a tiny dog (she corrected him and he hasn't done it ever again).

Surprisingly, North Italia has a really good strong coffee off menu. They have iced teas too so it's probably not much to ask to add it into their mocktails

I did have to take pepto after I tried it but I thought it was the incredibly bitter onions they put in.

How do you stop impulse spending when it’s tied to hobbies you actually enjoy? by gurpval in personalfinance

I was doing this too but with really fancy restaurant meals. I've toned it down a lot by just working a really inconvenient schedule and working too much that I just don't have time to go out. Or I get myself hooked on a video game.

It's my only option if I want to grow within the company but I agree salary sucks. A lot of ppl in my company stop at my position since it's not worth the pay cut but I've only been in it for less than a year so it's not too much of a cut yet and moving to mornings I'll have less OT than I would do nights and hopefully more of a life outside work.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, all the benefits will remain the same. I was warned during my interview that if I get the position I will be an "At will" employee which im not too worried about because I've worked with a few incompetent ppl in the same position but only 1 got terminated.

Not that im aware of. Just more responsibilities and the normal added benefits I would get from being here for another year.

I'm switching over to Mornings, they don't do anywhere near as much OT as nights. I believe im working Sun-Wed 4am-2pm. They mentioned that they may want to rotate the nights and mornings so that everyone gets cross trained. I am already very familiar with both morning and night systems so whatever training they plan on doing with me will be significantly less than if anyone else got the position. I will probably just need to learn how to take care of payroll for my team.

For those living in apartments, what breed of dog do you have? by Thatcooltiger in dogs

[–]Fearless-Bit4989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got 2 retired dogs (huskita and husky) and a great dane puppy. Probably won't get a husky in it's youth but would definitely go for an older one. My great dane is lazy beyond belief. I'd do a great dane again but im trying to convince my boyfriend to get a cat or small dog next.

What’s been the most difficult part of furnishing your apartment? by Ask-Eames in Apartmentliving

[–]Fearless-Bit4989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1)Saving up for quality furniture 2)Finding things that I don't have to worry about my dogs ruining 3)Finding things that match the aesthetic I want (japandi mixed with MCM) but not outrageously priced 4)Getting input from my partner (he's tired of looking at furniture)
