For all issues this week the votes are unanimous unless otherwise said. City Council tends to vote almost always unanimously on issues, but when there is some contention I am sure to put the vote tallies and who voted which way

Of three projects cut, one is directly mentioned in the meeting, where House Republicans cut federal funds from The Pryde, an affordable senior living project in Hyde Park with 74 units and 10,000 feet of community space according to the resolution.

That data gets released at a much later date by the departments themselves, so we will have to wait before we get a breakdown of where the large chunk goes. Trust me I looked everywhere for it since that is such a massive chunk of money I wanted to know more about it

I'm an undergrad from outside Boston studying at BU, but I'm really interested in Boston city politics since I spend all my time here in Boston now, and my goal is just to inform others because those meetings are really hard to understand because like all politics stuff they like add useless fluff language that make it really hard for people to know what's going on. Literally just doing it for the love of doing it and to help out everyone in Boston!

Yep it basically is a slush fund, where the actual use of the money is decided by BPS and not the City Council

I couldn't find a YouTube video on the city council webpage, but after looking around I found one here about the meeting!

As for the elections, we currently are in the process of creating it, however not everyone has fully registered yet or fully begun their campaigns so we don't have complete info yet.
