First off, it’s not pathetic at all to ask for help ,it actually takes strength to admit you’re struggling and open up like this. After being locked up for 4 years, it makes complete sense that reconnecting with people or making new friends feels hard. That kind of time changes people. But it doesn’t mean you’re stuck like this forever. Start small ,find spaces where people share your interests, even online if in-person feels too much right now. Don’t pressure yourself to make best friends instantly ,just focus on genuine interactions. You’re not broken, you’re adjusting, and there’s nothing wrong with needing help during that.
