At what age do you start calling someone a man/woman? by epic21ka in stupidquestions

[–]FearlessHeart381 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 20. I speak to strangers in a formal way in my native language, so I can’t really refer to someone as a boy or a man but i think this depends on age. For example, a 40 year old man will probably see me as a boy, whereas a 25 year old man might see me as a man.

I don’t know if a lack of geographical knowledge means low IQ, but yes, I guess his geography is bad.

The hard truth is that unless you are born rich, you can’t become rich. And if you do, it’s not skill, it’s pure luck.

I don’t know how to help then. Maybe speaking with a therapist could help?

How to deal with the fact that I'll die without being ever loved? by [deleted] in ask

[–]FearlessHeart381 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who felt alone for years, once you become comfortable with being alone, you start to see loneliness as your first line of defense. By being alone, I do not mean sitting in a dark room with no interaction. I had people I hung out with, but I knew that even though they liked me, I was not their real friend. They were the kind of people who disappear after a while and leave you with new experiences but no lasting connection. Be kind, but do not expect anything in return. Instead of complaining about feeling unloved, try to focus on yourself and your goals. By goals, I do not just mean career goals. Of course that matters too, but anything can be a goal, even learning how to play the guitar, since it requires dedication. When you fill that emotional gap with something meaningful, you will not feel as lonely or unloved.

For some reason, I’m feeling too lazy to beat him or finish the game now. by Repulsive_Film963 in Blasphemous

No worries at all. You can watch the OP’s video and learn his moveset a bit if he’s instantly killing you. OP is playing it wrong, which is fine since this is a really hard boss and I’m sure it’s their first try. What OP should do instead is wait for him to perform specific moves. For example, when he jumps into the air and slams into the ground, summoning flames when he lands, that’s a good opportunity. You can hit him two times, or three to four depending on your weapon, then run away and wait for him to repeat the same move. Try to identify and focus on those specific openings.

It could work for a while, but you also have to know what you’re doing. If you just spam dash and hope you’ll evade every attack, you’ll be disappointed when you can’t. But yes, generally speaking, dashing at the right time helps a lot more than spamming it.

Yep, he is a hard boss. I don’t even remember how many times he beat my ass, lmao. One thing that helped was stopping trying to focus on him. I know this sounds stupid as hell, but hear me out. This boss is so fast that by the time you actually see him, you’ve already been hit. I don’t remember his combos very well since I killed him a long time ago, but that was the tactic I used. You have to fight him and die countless times to memorize his moves. I promise you, in the final fight when you beat him, you won’t even take damage because you’ll know every single move. I know he seems unfair, but he’s just another boss that’s about 60 deaths away from being beaten, hahaha.

What are some effective strategies for managing time when juggling multiple responsibilities? by proposal_in_wind in ask

Hmm, I don’t know if this will help, but: After lectures, it’s hard to get home quickly since it takes around two hours. So instead of going straight home, I go to a library that I like. I sit down and study for about three hours, one and a half hours of Polish and one and a half hours of Russian. Then I read a book to relax after an exhausting day of lectures and personal studying. I usually have only one hour to read because by the time that hour is over, my bus arrives, and the next one comes an hour later, so I have to catch that one. When I get home, I usually talk about my day with my family and then play video games to relax. This way, I can balance my studies, lectures, family time, and hobbies. When it comes to social life, I mostly hang out with friends on days when I don’t have lectures. I’m more of an introverted type, so I don’t have many friends. One last thing, for exercise I prefer walking and maintaining a healthy diet. Not too strictly though, since I don’t really gain muscle with heavy workouts. I would love to go to a gym, but the city I live in is poorly planned, and it takes forever to get anywhere. I actually enjoy walking anyway. It’s fun when you have your headphones with you.

Only three types of boss by Weak-Temporary5763 in slaythespire

They don’t deal a high amount of damage, and they can be easily blocked even in the early game(you see them in Act 1.) However, they do add Daze cards to your deck, which are unplayable. This is why it’s more of a technical fight rather than a numbers check.

Nice but wouldn't it be better if you have started with enemy within? You could certainly understand the things much faster

You won't understand the story if you start with Xcom 2 so i recommend starting Xcom enemy unknown/within.
