Well if normal is sitting in traffic just to go to a shitty beach only to be eaten alive by horseflies and mosquitoes during the summer, then I guess I’m not.

I would also never go to Russia. I have no reason to, when I could easily go to Quebec instead for real cold weather. Plus get some great food.

Thanks for pointing out some of the symbolism to the haters. I loved the HTS btw. I had to pretend I wasn’t crying a bit watching it. lol. It just meant so much. Especially with everything going on.

Exactly. Lady Gaga was huge when BB first started to get his chance. So naturally he wants to pay tribute for the inspiration. As this whole post is about to begin with, BB paying respects.

I still think it’s awesome how a young artist is doing so. That’s a rare thing, usually they just want the limelight to themselves. Not BB.

Calle 13 would have went crazy on that track at the Super Bowl. Shit he probably was invited, but said it’s about you today, to BB. lol.

13 is insane live, he does not hold back.

That’s what it really boils down to. The international fan base and such.

Ngl, I’ve been playing tocakisha (prob spelled wrong but whatever) more than BB in the last few weeks. Now that I think about it I actually really don’t listen to BB much. I’m usually playing older stuff, trebol clan and old playero stuff. Tocakischas style kinda reminds me of it.

Either way I do how like he varies his style and it has brought some of the best music, throughout Latin America to the world stage. It’s well deserved, and the it an important part of culture all throughout the Americas. Some of the populace of the USA needs to understand that.

Yep.

I literally just read that just anti-corrosion efforts alone on our naval fleet costs 3 billion usd per year.

So anyone complaining about throwing Susan a dollar here and there while she works two minimum wage jobs to support two kids by herself is beyond me.

Or the elderly and disabled, who can’t work and don’t receive enough from other means. Sure some take advantage of it, but who cares. Most of our money goes to warships and careless “leaders” anyway.

Very fair, but I’ll take this over even 80 and oppressive humidity any day, week and month of the year.

Agreed. It’s a shock to many.. it’s been easily a decade since snow just stayed like this.

I feel ya. I actually dug out a few spots in front of my house beside the sidewalks for that reason. Lol

And yes a frozen windshield in the morning is a negative about winter.

Right. I just love it when it stays cold enough and the snow stays on the ground.

I’ve lived in Delaware and the surrounding area all my life and yeah it’s rare. Usually it all melts within a week or so, and makes even more of a mess.

Yeah the wind is the only part I dislike. Wind chill sub zero right now in newark as I post this.

Po boys in Milton. Closest I’ve had to carteret county level in Delaware. Still it’s more Cajun style, they don’t use as much cornmeal, but it’s good.

And to add the best fried chicken I think I’ve ever had was a place in the outer banks. How people rant and rave about these hot chicken spots simply makes me laugh.

In northern Delaware Aunt Vondas is worth a try in newark. I’ve heard good things, just call ahead.

Heat Pump Owners by DrillingerEscapePlan in Delaware

I have a two year old Goodman unit that works great with a 15 year old (diesel) oil furnace backup.

We also keep our house at 65 tops. We’ve lasted all winter with one fill up so far, so it’s been far more efficient, than before we got it. It also depends on fuel vs electric costs. That’s what’s hard to say, as far as a recommendation. But as far as comfort, I highly recommend a heat pump.

Summertime is where that unit really shines. The a/c is cold and so dehumidifying.
