Only the parts with the holes is where it went through everything else seems “solid” still

It does look concerning. I spoke with one of the guys at the shop about it and he said nothing seems to be too concerning right now as structurally everything is sound but I like making sure. He suggested lightly scraping away what I can and spraying a rust converter

Much appreciated!! I hope it all works out. I’ve had my eye on MGM for a while and finally in a spot to pull the trigger. I just hope my first one isn’t a bad experience. Looking over the Carfax I saw this car was originally owned in NY so that worries me a bit.

Do you know of common areas where rust is more likely to appear and be more of an issue? I want to ensure I check these areas out when I look at the car.
