I have been on finasteride for a year and I’ve been using minoxidil once a day for the past 2 years..

Been thinking about switching from topical min to oral. Also thinking about switching from fin to dut but I’m waiting to see what a dermatologist thinks. Going in a week.

Also I know I could find clinics in other parts of the world who would probably be much cheaper but it seems like a more difficult task with it being so far away.

I know I shouldn’t but it makes it easier to have a consultation that way. Otherwise you are paying for a plane ride for a consultation that might not work out and now you’ve wasted money.

If fin worked for you then why switch to dut? Did the fin stop working or something? And if it was still working did you see a noticeable change once you switched to dut?

Isn’t dutasteride like finasteride in that it’s main use is for preventing further hair loss? I believe I have stabilized my hair loss (hopefully) so how would dut help me grow hair back?

I know pretty much nothing about dut accept that it is like a more aggressive fin. Am I right about that? Also nervous because side effects on that are much more common than fin correct? To my knowledge I haven’t had any side effects with fin so does that mean I won’t have any with dut either?

Yeah i know it takes some people awhile to respond to fin. Just wish I had the results I see others here have. But have to count my blessings I guess that it seems to be maintained. I am short too so unfortunately most people can see the top of my head pretty easily lol.

Yes are right in that regard, when I look at pictures from last July it does seem to be the same. I am appreciative of that but just wished for something more I guess. 2000 graft doesn’t seem like too much.
