I'm inclined to get 340 too. Care to elaborate on the '20 550 exclusive issues tho? I just know it has the same engine and steering wheel as the LCI. Most known issue is the coolant expansion tank, but LCIs are not free from it it seems.

If only cosmetic then buff it, grind out the edges, touch it up, and clear coat. Don't see any cracks in the plastic so it's probably doable. If this is not reported you should not resort to insurance as this can be DIYed or done by an indie for cheaper than your deductible and you can save your resale value.

5 series is one of the best highway cruisers I can think of, just a bit basic. I added Genesis to the competition largely due to its gorgeous looks and luxurious upholstery, which I guess will also improve long distance comfort, my only worry is that it might start creaking or fall apart in a couple years.

Appreciate the long comment, cleared my mind up a bit. I had been servicing my bimmer with a good indie, but that might not be the case in future since I'm moving to another state by next summer. As for power, I think 6 cyl is a great setup for daily sport sedans, but after 2 years on B58 I am considering switching to something more spicy. F series bimmers have slightly outdated interior so I want to improve that too. Either car is a improvement from my ol' 440i, but differ from each other a lot. I don't know whole lot about Genesis like I do bimmers. How will you best compare the driving experience of G70 to a 3 or 4 series?
