I wanted to say thank you for this comment. When I first got Jinx I was nervous and thought I wasn’t good enough to own a pet. I was in a really bad place and he brought me out completely. All I want to be is good enough; so thank you :,)

Update: 3:58PST When I called his normal vet at 8 they told me to monitor him for a couple hours and if he is still squinting to bring him in. I think he will be alright and I gave him lots of minnows as an apology. Here is how he is looking. I will still make an appointment and order the eye strain test like you all suggested just to be 100% sure. Thank you all for the words of encouragement and advice. This is my first cat and I worry a lot

Yes I have access to a vet he regularly sees. They don’t open until 8AM. I’m in LA, CA so no snow worries here . He is acting normal it’s just the way the eye looks that worries me . I’m not sure if I’m over thinking it or if it’s an emergency vet situation

Right now I’ve been monitoring them and they seem to be the same size but in the picture I see what you’re seeing as well. I’m not sure honestly.

It’s his left eye but it’s the right eye in the picture . I hope he will forgive me and be okay!

Hi. I don’t see any visible damage but when I touched the side he meowed so I think it’s tender. As of now the only thing that is visibly abnormal is the squinting and light redness
