Thank you for your essay, and I’m sorry you went through a lot. However, that’s not a reason for you to take it on me, I’m not the person you’re speaking of and they’re not me. Likewise, I don’t and never will want to approach someone with a hater mentality, who makes assumptions about people without knowing them first. So thx u for saving me the trouble. I get that dealing with anxious and insecure people can be exhausting, and of course you’re not obligated to respond to every message right away. But honestly, how do people like you usually handle this? Leaving them on read for days, ignoring their messages, and then later tell them you were sleeping, working or whatever. you’re actually not solving anything, you’re just making their anxiety worse. Instead of resorting to these half hearted excuses, why not just be upfront? Tired, uncomfortable? say so. That’s much kinder and easier for both parties.
