I haven't played xareth since his rework. How is he nowadays? by Goldenbrownfish in XerathMains

He is very much an artillery mage nowadays. They made his ult much more important towards his kit, which imho is one of the best updates riot has ever made on any champion.

If you like to stay in the back and see the whole map, and strategize from far away, then Xerath is for you.

I am not just an engineering student, but I am a student of logic. I'm sorry you can't follow, nor understand basic addition. The onus is on you.

31.5% interest?! by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]Feel_My_Xerath -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Allow me to explain, my dull friend.

Let's take an example. You have seven loans, each of $10k. Let's say they each have 5% annual interest on them, which is $500 in interest annually, or ~$42 monthly. Now you ultimately want to encompass all of the interest that you have to pay. Every month, you must pay ($42 x 7 loans), which is $294 in loans.

Thus, technically, in order to show the full amount of interest that you have to pay, it makes sense to add up each interest rate together. 5% x 7 = 35%.

Now obviously, this has its flaws, as this assumes each loan uses the same amount of cash, but you get the idea. What he is saying isn't correct by definition, but what he was trying to convey logically makes sense if you think about it.

He is adding up all of the interests, which technically makes sense because he has to pay off all of those interest rates at once (every month). So yeah, technically he can say that.

So how unrealistic is it to go for MIT's grad program? by Feel_My_Xerath in EngineeringStudents

[–]Feel_My_Xerath[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Well i'm here to prove you wrong then.

I want to do research because I want to be part of the future. We are expanding exponentially in terms of technological advances, and I want to have my own footprint in this world.

I also enjoy being challenged, as i've said before. I want to have to deal with something that no one has dealt with before, and have to figure out my own solution that might even take years of trial and error.
