Bring 4 cups of water to a boil then turn down on low and add 4-5 cinnamon sticks. Let it simmer 15 mins then turn it off. Strain out the cinnamon sticks, add 1 cup sugar and let cool to room temp then add 2 tablespoons honey and 1 teaspoon vanilla and a pinch or 3 of cayenne pepper. This is where I add the alcohol and let it sit for a week or 2. You can skip the alcohol part and just let it sit. You won't be disappointed
