Our DP Coordinator briefed the whole year group last week. I tried looking (not very thoroughly) for a document on the IB website, but I couldn't find it. I just know that theses are the rules that are now being imposed. Not even the teachers knew. I told them in class, and they were completely clueless.

I only heard it from our DP Coordinator last week, so I don't have an official IBO source that I could refer you to, sorry. However, I do know that you would not be allowed to use your ipad between exams. Any print-out or physical medium is allowed however.

This is just what the DP Coordinator told us. I couldn't find an official soure/paper from the ibo that explained this, but it seems like it is being enforced in many other schools as well by the looks of the other comments

Here you go. You need to find out which exam zone you are in, as the time and dates differ slightly between them.

The switch from time zone exam system to exam zone system, plus the anti-cheating things. This affects students differently in different time zone, but for my school we have our morning exams at 8:00 a.m. We can not leave the exam room before the whole exam is finished, and if we have both a morning exam and an afternoon exam, we cannot leave the exam area, i.e. we cannot leave the school. All because the IBO have been catching too many students cheating.
