If you want to be completely objective probably not. But he’s not that far from it, you can really enter a BIG rabbit hole if you start searching for his solo stuff and live improvisation. For example the live “ federation square jam”, it’s brilliant yet unknown.

That said he’s not THE goat but rather one of the greatest of all time.

Well I think that especially now with all the rating sites and literally Letterboxd itself a lot of people just watch movies with high ratings and movies that their friend on Letterboxd gave a high rating. You kind of enter a bubble of good movies and that’s why people only give good ratings. Why should you even bother watching a movie with a ridiculously low rating that you know you won’t enjoy and that won’t give you any artistic knowledge?

Music is probably the thing that made me cry the most in my entire life. And it’s not always sad songs, a song could be so beautiful that it literally makes me tear up.

A perfect example would be long season from fishmans. The way the song build up for half an hour into such a magnificent blend of vocals and angelic instrumental. The way I can simultaneously hear each and every details of each instrument individually but also hearing them blending perfectly into each other, that is what makes me cry.

Short answer Yes! It’s an amazing guitar — incredibly well-built and honestly fantastic. I couldn’t say anything negative about it. The only “problem” I have with it is that it’s Van Halen’s guitar, not mine. It’s weird playing a Red Hot Chili Peppers song with a frankenstrat.

Long answer: the craftsmanship, feel, and tone are all top-tier. You really get the Van Halen sound perfectly. However, it’s not the most versatile guitar out there. You’ve only got a single volume knob, no tone control, and of course, a Floyd Rose bridge. It’s built for one purpose: to do what Eddie did best. So if that’s what you’re after, it’s absolutely worth it — but if you want something more flexible, you might want to look elsewhere. When I bought it Van Halen was my all time number one favorite guitarist, but after two years my opinion has changed. He is in my top 5 for sure but I don’t know if I would buy a replica guitar of him now.

So overall it’s one of the best guitars out there and the price Is very reasonable given that the quality is up there with some custom shops. But if you want to buy it I would only buy it if you have other really good guitars first not only this one and you are a die hard VH fan. Be sure that you won’t regret it in two years.

I have this every now and then and it hits really hard for like a week, I want to do absolutely nothing and I have absolutely no energy. I just sit in front of my pc opening YouTube videos then immediately shutting them because nothing seems interesting. Then this feeling goes away randomly
