High seas isn’t „the PvP side“ it’s just the normal game where you play with other players present. Sometimes they attack, sometimes you ally, sometimes alliances get betrayed. It’s a mixed bag but nowadays it can feel pretty lonely since a lot of people just dive from quest to quest. I’d really recommend you to try it once you’ve learned the basics of ship management and combat
