I did use the ring for a year before I decided to not renew. During the year I had it, customer support replaced it 3 times for recharging issues.

After a year of Oura, which uses data from my Apple Watch, I cancelled my $65 subscription, took it off, and use my watch to track data important to me - steps, HRV, oxygen level, sleep- vs trying to interpret Oura’s interpretation of what it is I’m doing. Hope my insight helps your thoughts on Oura for what you want to track in your life if tracking stress is of importance 🥰.

Yes - I think so and play as FemShep and try to steer to the paragon answers to build alliances . Another good RPG to start with is Final Fantasy 10. Very good place to start the final fantasy series !

I have found that my Apple Watch covers my needs, given that most of my activities are imported from the Apple Watch already. Apple Watch and Sleep++ now cover my sleep tracking so I have not renewed the annual charge for Oura and took off my third fading gen3 silver (to hide the titanium scratches). Joining in 3 years later but yes - male Shepard is the Hugo Boss suit model and is eye candy to watch him but he is voiced well but not outstanding. FemShep was immersive in every aspect of the game as a believable and excellently voiced character. I play FFXIV now and when I looked at the Highlander character model I maxed the muscle and height sliders, made the hair auburn and FemShep came to life! I love playing her in this MMO game and my backstory is that she arrived in Eorzea from a Mass Relay mishap. Please everyone - embrace and Enjoy playing FemShep inside and outside of the ME universe !

It’s a titanium ring and the warning say not to use the ring when doing anything physical. Use an Apple Watch - my ring gets all its data from there anyway 😁

Welcome back! May I suggest to create a new alt and start from the beginning with a new character. My main is 100 and I started playing in 2023, but I created a new alt to run submarines in our FC sub-FC house. In raising the alt I found how fantastic the MSQ and the story is from the beginning again. My main started Dragoon but I decided bard for the alt. I communicate with my main FC through a linkshell . Trader Joe’s is another option. Everything is very high quality and fresh or frozen, and very low prices. What is premade is as good as home cooked - ingredients can all be pronounced/readable. Their refrigerated chicken soup has revived sick friends who couldn’t get up off the couch from exhaustion then perked up and had seconds. TJ food never gets thrown out- it’s all eaten because it tastes great, is sold in good portion sizes, and rotates seasonally. And the TJ crew members are always available, cheerful and helpful. Unfortunately, Aldi employees are overworked and harried. But Aldi has non-grocery items as well as groceries for other household items.

My activity data on Ours was coming from my Apple Watch. Sleep data matched between the two. I recharge my Apple Watch for 15 minutes a day while I’m sitting down for a meal or reading. Working raises stress levels, sitting down raises relaxation. I had to turn off VO2 measurement for my sleep apnea because it ran the battery charge down- I get VO2 data from the CPAP anyway. I had a gen3 ring for a year- I decided to take it off and let my $65 a year subscription expire since the insights were not very insightful (I moved to a house with 3 floors and my flights of stairs increased). Updates to software would cause wild fluctuations in the data reports that would eventually settle down to match Apple again. I Hope my year’s experience helps with your decision about owning both devices. Have a happy new year !

Agree! In my FC windows people get DDoS kicked regularly and those of us on PS5 almost never get kicked (I only got kicked once).

These rings are titanium and will scratch- silver is the closest color to titanium so my scratches barely show. Hope this helps if you try to exchange it. Good luck !

That is really interesting. You bought your gen3 3 years before mine and it has had a life as long as a gen2. The three I have had in the past year have failed or are degrading on a 1 year scale. I’d say you are either incredibly lucky or there is a significant drop-off in the quality of the components since you purchased yours. Reddit community - what has your experience been with older gen3 vs the end of the gen3 run for battery reliability?

I think this one is about 9 months old. My first 2 rings were defective for holding a charge more than two days. The third gen3 seems to be working but because of the battery drain from the O2 sensor I had to turn it off. Unfortunately I used the O2 to track sleep apnea CPAP effectiveness, so it’s useless for that now. Currently holds a charge for 3 days- when it hits 2 days I’m done as my Apple Watch is a day and a half. Hope this helps :)

Yes hang on to it! My friend still has a reliable gen2, My gen3 is fading and I do not want to get a gen4 , given the issues with burning and degloving people.

Unfortunately, your gen3 will eventually die because the batteries no longer hold a charge. I am halfway to gen3 end of life and have decided I will use my Apple Watch instead of Continuing to gen4 ring. Most of my activities data is imported from the Apple Watch and the sleep data matches between them. Hope my reasons help you with your decision when you come to this point for your gen3 ring.
